Experience Grace Active

Did you know that God’s grace can become active in your life today simply by opening your heart to Jesus Christ? We have provided the steps for you to begin your new life that is found in Jesus Christ. Simply follow the steps below and when you do we’d love for you to write us and let us know so we can celebrate you!

Step 1: God LOVES you, and offers a wonderful PLAN for your life.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

Do you realize there has never been a moment in time that God has not loved you? Even before you were born God has loved you with an everlasting love and His great desire is that you and I might now Him, to have a personal relationship with God. There is a problem to us having and enjoying a relationship with God and that is because God is holy and man is sinful. That leads us to the second step.

Step 2: Man is SINFUL and SEPARATED from God. Therefore, he cannot know and experience God's love and plan for his life.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
The bible teaches that God is perfect and man because we chose to disobey God became sinful, we became sinners. To sin is to miss the mark, it’s an archery term that describes God as perfect, the bull’s eye and you and I unfortunately have missed the mark of perfection. How do we know this? Let me ask you a simple question. Do you always do that which you know is right to do? Obviously, for every human being the answer is the same. We don’t always do what is right and we miss the mark. Because God is perfect and we are sinful we cannot on our own have a relationship with God. This leads us to step number three.

Step 3: Jesus Christ is God's ONLY provision for Man's sin. Through Him you can know and experience God's love and plan for your life…
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

Why did Jesus die on the Cross? The bible says in Romans 6:23, “for the wages of sin is death”. You might say because we have sinned against God we have earned the right to die, death you can say is the wage, the payment for breaking God’s laws. But, there is good news at the end of Romans 6:23. It says, “but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” We can have our sins forgiven if we would realize God loves us and made a way for us to be saved by sending His only Son to die on the Cross in our place. If we would recognize that we truly are sinners and have fallen short of the glory of God and in turn repent, and turn from our sin to God and receive Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord, we can be forgiven, we can be saved! How can we be saved? That leads us to step four.

Step 4: We must individually RECEIVE Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; then we can know and experience God's love and plan for our lives.
"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name" (John 1:12)

Being “Born Again” isn’t just believing the right things; it is receiving Jesus Christ into your life and following Him. Christianity isn’t a bunch of rules; it’s a relationship. To be a Christian is to be “in Christ”, to have Jesus in your life, living in your heart by faith. The bible says in Revelation 3:20, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.”

Salvation is a free gift to all who would receive it. If you would like to receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and the Lord of your life let me invite you to pray this simple prayer in faith.
“Dear Heavenly Father, I want to thank you for loving me and sending Your Only Son, Jesus Christ, to take my place on the Cross where He died for me. I confess to You, I am a sinner, someone who has broken Your Laws and violated Your Commandments. I realize that without Jesus Christ coming to earth and living a perfect life and dying on the Cross for me I could never make it to heaven and enjoy fellowship with You, for You are perfect and holy and righteous in all your ways.

Thank you for forgiving me of all my sins and making a way for me to come to You through Your Son. I am opening my heart to You today and inviting You to come into my life so that I can be Born Again. I repent of my sins and I turn my life over to you giving You control of my life and I ask You to fill me now with Your Holy Spirit and to teach me Your ways each day as I study the Words of the bible and learn to talk with you in prayer. Guide me in all my ways from this day forward I pray, in Jesus name, amen.”
